Pete Weber

Pete Weber is a professional actor who has lived and worked in the Kansas City area for as long as he is old. He got his start in KC doing improv with ComedySportz and then ComedyCity. During that time he performed and trained with people like Pearl MacDonald of 12th Street Jump and Jason Sudeikis of Saturday Night Live. His training continued as he attended Second City Improv workshops by Second City alumni Mick Nappier and T.J. Jagodowski. With a good base of Improv, he decided to take the learning curve back to school to develop as an actor. Pete graduated from Avila University with a degree in Acting and began working the Kansas City scene. He signed with Exposure Talent Agency in 2007 for commercial jobs and has been on camera for local and national ads and films. Pete then began teaching with the Kansas City Repertory Theatre in their Rep on the Road program, going to schools and youth centers all over the KC area. His true love is live performance and Pete has been lucky to work with almost all of the Kansas City theatres. Local show reviews have said, “Using magnificent comic timing and a deep sincerity, he mesmerized the audience with his performance” (Present Magazine), “his moving work, grounds the show” (The Pitch), “the glue in the production is provided by Weber…he makes it come to life” (Kansas City Star). It was after a performance of Murder By The Book at the American Heartland Theatre, when Mark Edelman approached Pete about doing 12th Street Jump. As Pete has always loved jazz, he jumped at the opportunity. Pun intended.
